Does your arrogance know no bounds? Sunshine, in the last six weeks I've read two weighty tomes on the recent history of Africa. Martin Merediths "State of Africa" and Guy Arnolds "Africa: a modern history". I don't appreciate comments alluding to my intelligence when I a) have probably read more books about the hsitory of Africa than you've had hot meals and b) am completing a PhD in physics. So I suggest you learn to debate in a civilized manner and not one befitting a 13 yo.

So, according to your logic, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are not "independent"? I can't speak for the Canadians but if you said that in a pub in Aus or NZ you'd be asked to step outside.
