why cant i upgrade on mtn?

wonder if someone can help
on the mtn anytime 350
and according to the mtn website.im due for upgrade now
but when i called a dealer they say mtn says i cant upgrade until the full 24 months are up?
as im on some hardware package?
what the h&&& is that?

previously no matter which fone i had i upgraded when the mtn system said i could?

someone please tell me they making a mistake?

Try calling someone else at another store or MTN direct.

Not sure about your problem.
But my advice is not to upgrade.
My experience with Autopage (not sure about other SP's) is that you pay a 'premium' to upgrade.
It means that you will pay at the end more than if you were to take an existing contract.
In contrast, if you wait for the 24 months to end, then you will recive a much bigger discount as they would want to keep u as a customer.

What you should do is compare deals (if they do give you) to contracts if you were a new customer. If it is more, wait for atleast 1 month before your contracr ends and ask them for negotiating deal.

I saved about 2k.

apparantly coz my previous upgrade there was a promo fee coz of the phone i chose
so in order for me to upgrade i have to pay that promo fee for 4 months then i can upgrade now
or else wait 4 months and then upgrade

i worked it out.if i pay it now il end up paying R100 more
so im getting the upgrade done
