why CAP other ISP ?

I hope this has not come up on the forum before.

If I choose MWEB or any other ISP, then why should Telkom put a CAP. I thought all they do is provide the line ?

Surely If I choose MWEB, then the bandwidth i (ab)use is MWEB's not Telkom ? :confused:
 
It has come up before...

Unless you go with UUNET or IS etc over ADSL, your MWeb ISP account is actually a Telkomonopoly ISP account, which MWeb as a reseller have actually bought from Telkomonopoly for around R190/month.
 
Only difference then is basically that you can channel your porblems via the reseller. Who MIGHT be able to help you faster??

And you get access to Mweb's premium content. Don't forget that. There is some advantage there...
