Why did Exodus not issue BCC after hard fork?

As title states, why? When the last fork happened I got equivalent in BCC from altcointrader but not in my Exodus wallet. Been meaning to ask for a while now why.

Except they did, just not within their own wallet.

Basically they can choose whatever coins they want to support, and for whatever reason decided not to support BCC. But they did create a mechanism for you to get it
