Why does my pc just switch off on its own?

So i am posting on the forum now and my pc just shuts down on its own. i switch it on and get the windows startup screen that says i have one application running so i click on it and i get straight back on the forum. why does it do that?

Does your keyboard have a sleep button?

a virus/spyware

maybe psu?

or like hashbrown said, u pushing a sleep button

ha ha yes i see the sleep button now i think i may have depressed that button as it looks sad, but anyway i will attribute the pc going off to that. thanks all.

It may have been the Power Supply, I also encountered that problem. I changed the Power Supply and my PC is 100% perfect

how soon after boot does it switch off. and by switch off do you mean reboot or it's off?

it was actually while i was on the forum and i was doing something (maybe posting) and then it went off. so i switched it back on and the screen says wayne and 1 application running or something so i click on the flower and i am back on the forum. i must have pushed the sleep button hey?

maybe he is using to many stuff on a small power supply or try and reinstall windows/linux
