Why does Slashdot now suck on iBurst?

Why does Slashdot now suck on iBurst?

It comes out without the graphics, without the formatting and
all looks like simple vanilla 1993 HTML?

The stuff is still there, just that it looks bad. Any explanations?

Packet loss.... I am finding that it is either packet loss or that transparent proxy of theirs drops packets containing image data.

it used to happen with sites like prophecy.co.za a lot in the past aswell.
