Why doesnt Telkom offer 6Meg Lines?

Since i cant get 8Meg stable I was wondering why telkom offer 2, 4, 8, 10, 20 ADSL but not 6?

I would like to get an additional account and have 1Meg for my brother to use and then get a 4Meg for myself. so a 6Meg (6144kbit) sync would be perfect.

I am assuming the 8Mbps is due to ADSL (not ADSL2+) technology which is 8Mbps down?

You do get 6Mbps, but you're still going to pay for 10Mbps.

10Meg is R400, but ill only be using 60% of that line.

And I cant get 8Meg, so im a bit stuck.
