Since i cant get 8Meg stable I was wondering why telkom offer 2, 4, 8, 10, 20 ADSL but not 6?

I would like to get an additional account and have 1Meg for my brother to use and then get a 4Meg for myself. so a 6Meg (6144kbit) sync would be perfect.

Demand vs effort.

It's possible to get a 6Mbs sync though.

I am assuming the 8Mbps is due to ADSL (not ADSL2+) technology which is 8Mbps down?

Is it currently a different price for each 2mbps jump up to 10mbps?

"up to" means just that. "up to 10mbps (depending if your line quality can sustain a stable connection)"
