Why hasn't reserved amount refunded yet(FNB)?

Placed an order with Mr Delivery.

The store rejected the order & Mr Delivery immediately directed me to a page stating that the money has been refunded.

Mr Delivery states it can be refunded within a day & to follow up with bank.

How much longer will it take FNB to refund my money?

Why is the 7 day thing still in place in 2019?

You charge me instantly & offer an instant EFT service, but the time frame for a reversal is 7 days?

Btw how is it possible that an Uber reversal is done instantly but any other online transaction takes forever?

I believe those are placed as a reserve/reversal in the first place and therefore just get cancelled.

It's not a real transaction until the trip is completed and it gets charged.
