Why is iburst so Sloooooooow lately

:) our 1 director has iBurst at home, and his connection was clearly working very well.
he's just come to say he had to buy more data, cos whole cap for the month is blown. (its only the 5th!)
in 1 day his account shows they downloaded AND uploaded each more than 2.2 Gb.
sheesh... I didn't think it was even possible to do so much on iBurst in 1 day.
unless iBurst account monitoring thing is f'up.... his children all claim innocent, wasn't them, so I need to ask iBurst to investigate the history of past 2 days.
 
Is it just me or are torrents NOT working at all? and don't give me piracy crud cause torrents are fine if I'm using it for opensource stuff :)

Can also be spyware/adware/malware on his PC which's eating up his cap...

Everything, including email is suddenly shaped to death - backhaul bandwidth issue if you ask me...

Browsing seems fine though.
 
Ya browsing and http/ftp downloads are perfect, even youtube is sort of ok but msn wont stay connected and torrents are dead

Blew my cap in the first day because I was trying to download just few -/+50mb files but as iBurst is now shaped to the point of insanity I had to redownload and it added up till I just got throttled.

Sorry but ADSL sounds good now especially with the new DIY option which has been avalible for quite some months plus you get an added extra local cap other than iBurps throttle.
