Why is Jacob Zuma invincibile?

What did Mbeki do to threaten the movement?
If I recall it was because he fired "wrongfully" fired Zuma
Which just re-affirms, that JZ is untouchable.. The president of the country at the time tried to stop the JZ train before it gained momentum and lost his job in the process..

Mbeki had a certain authoritarian leadership style, which translated to dictatorial tendencies for the 'movement'. They detest that.

Also, Mbeki actually had the ability to formulate independent ideas and speak on them. Zuma does not. He's a useful idiot and a lightning rod for them.

In no particular order

1) Shabir Shaiks wrongful release from jail
2) Jacky Selebis wrongful release from jail
3) Guptagate - Waterkloof
4) Guptas appointing their own ministers
5) Nkandla
6) Rape (yes he was acquitted, but he's got off everything else where we know he's guilty, so who knows if he's really innocent here)
7) Introducing e-tolls
8) The secrecy bill
9) Robert Mcbride appointed head of IPID
10) Corruption charges
11) Ignoring a court order to release the spy tapes
12) The country paying for his personal legal advisor
13) The Sishen mining rights debacle - his son made millions here, along with the Guptas, so once again, no doubt JZ had a role to play
14) The Marikana massacre
15) The Limpopo textbook saga

What are we missing in this list and why is he invincible?

16) The fate of Thami Zulu must cause ANC members to think hard before speaking out loud.
17) Could Zuma be pulling the strings that prevent Clive Derby Lewis from getting medical parole and speaking out?
18) The 2002 Zimbabwe Election Report which conveniently "vanished" from the office of Judge Raulinga after Zuma had lost all legal attempts to keep it away from the Mail & Guardian.
18a) The PP's Nkandla report could easily end up being judged by a Zuma supporter.
19) Bheki Cele should have been prosecuted
20) Zuma controls SAPS, SANDF, NPA

I cannot see any possibility that he will give up the Presidency at the "legal end" of his term.

I also can't, and if he does, it'll be to one of his puppets
he seems to have Cyril by the balls too, especially after Marikana and helping with the cover up

He has the list of names that were involved in the arms deal.

6) Rape (yes he was acquitted, but he's got off everything else where we know he's guilty, so who knows if he's really innocent here)

He was innocent, although people love bringing this up

Weird seeing Intelligence and Zuma in one sentence.

Stop that, now.

It seems as if you don't need to be Intelligent to be the Leader of the Intelligent Agencies, you just need to be as a very sly person and know how to pull the strings of your puppets.

More like, he is ON the list of people that were involved in the arms deal.

Well, honestly I think he was left off out of that loop, but there are some big names that are on the list

*cough* mandela family *cough*

Explains why the Mandela fund gave him the money to throw out Mbeki.

The reason he's invincible is that he's replaced all the key people that could do something with his sympathisers or with people who he has dirt on. They all know that if they take him down, they go down with him, and they're all on the same gravy train.

But he can't be elected to another term as president. So what's going to happen to all of them then?

Ah, but that's why he needs a 2/3 majority so that he can change the constitution, and that's why Malema has leverage because he can give it to him. Interesting days ahead...

Eish Zuma, that guy, I am sure he would run this country till he kicks the bucket, if that was possible. Him and his party manage to manipulate the masses into voting for his party....Free groceries.... playing the apartheid card, warning what will happen if another party takes control... really sad :( I still wonder why is he so hard to get rid of? Is he perhaps making sure the people who put him behind the wheel are always happy...maybe making sure they get their gravy or whatever they want??

Jacob Zuma: A quick guide as to why democracy does not work.

Zuma is an ignorant doffie. He's just a mere puppet ... an emperor with no clothes ... and a goose that lays the golden eggs.

The real threat are the people keeping him in power.

Don't underestimate him because he is uneducated, that's part of his strategy. He was apparently the Robben Island chess champion.
