Why is this wine so cheap?

Was at the wine area and saw this gem of a wine.
R45 for a litre of wine

Curious if anyone has tried it.

I got a headache just looking at that pick.

it is so cheap because it is really really bad.

also that is not that cheap. when I got stupid drunk off that stuff, I bought a papsak (5L bag, no box) for R15 but this was in 2004

Nee man Tassenberg is actually highly regarded...Autumn Harvest is just plain cat piss.


The real cost of wine is about that though, everything else is just a fabrication.
 
Crackling is notorious amongst teenagers because it's cheap and gets the job done.

It is quite possibly the worst wine that you can find in South Africa. Thats why it's so cheap.
The hangover's it gives you are astounding
