For the last 3 months, I have received mail from many addresses, purportedly from Ben Seal Cole.

He must be a very desperate man.

Anyway, it seems that Telkom is able to filter out the fraudulent mails froim the addressee, yet Mweb is incapable..

Why is it, that after12 telephone calls to Mweb, that they are unable to block this scam artist?

Even TelkomSA is able to prevent this fag from mailing me...

Tisk, tisk, tisk Mweb....

Ja... this is unfortunately true. M-web's spam filters leave a lot to be desired.

I would seriously consider signing up with a gmail account and forwarding all of your m-web e-mail through it. That way you can slowly migrate to the gmail address and set up rules and filters to get rid of that crap.

g-mails filters are very good.

Ja, I ended up doing just that.

You know things are getting bad, when Telkom has the superior implementation...

I have NEVER used my mweb email address on any website.. and yet i receive a crapload of spam on my mweb account! Nobody even knows what my email account is, and I can promise you it's a difficult one, yet I get spam! Nothing on my IS account.

got my mom to do that - she never looked back. gmail ftw. though it must give you the creeps that soon they will have all your data on their servers (or atleast a large portion of it...)
