Why don't any ISP's offer better terms if you just want to switch from Telkom on Openserve to them on Openserve?

Or am I missing something

Hi, I dont follow? That's the same as basically offering anyone better terms to switch from any ISP right?

If your service and support from Telkom is good why would you switch?

Sounds like a billing nightmare for ISPs, not to mention the associated admin work every month to switch lines etc..

ISPs will lose in the long run with the sheer amount of resources required to sustain this business model..

ISP's can be creative...

@Hemi300c Unfortunately we only offer service in the greater Cape Town Metropole currently
Unless you have moved from PTA East?

Excuse me if this is a dumb question but I'm curious..why don't more isps become fnos or don't they have enough clients to cover the costs in the long run

Just looking around at costing etc. Been with Tekom/Openserve since the begining of fibre and they ok.

Telkom have the advantage of being the same business as the FNO, so they dont need to fight for margin at a fraction of the total.

When Openserve is collecting 80% of the revenue.
