They did not have the highest bid in the ref auction

I dono if this is dumb thinking, but sharks had a penalty with 3mins left or so,knowing they would probably have run out of time if they went for the try, wudnt the better option have been to go for the 3 points and still have time for the restart?

Although i guess they thought they had time left.

Who knows...like Matfield not going for the penalty to go 4 points up, I thought to myself : Here we go again :(. Ends up being a correct decision when the Sharks scored at the death

Well, the Sharks just wasn't good enough in the end. They have lost 3 games in a row in Durban and that explains what happened tonight perfectly.

The Bulls have won 10 games this season which is more than any other team in this years competition so they really deserve being were they are on the log, and really deserved winning tonight!

I agree, that was the right move. Get yourself within 7 and then you can play after the whistle to win it.

Why did the ref blow the whistle before the siren?

He asked the tele ref if time was up.

I was really disappointed that Pienaar went off. I hope he is alright for the Lions tour. I really rate him.

Yip,just have to accept it i guess. They were able to finish off better than the sharks.

I guess it was a pretty good decision knowing that sharks needed the 4th try and if they got it penalty wudnt hav been enuf, but they still took the penalties nd drop goal opportunities before that.Oh well.

At leats i dnt have to wake up early for the semis :P ,if sharks won wudve been an early 1 i think.

The ref made a couple of shocking decisions, against the Bulls.

Especially the Yellow card Deon Stegman got.

That if you were watching with your bulss eyes. Matfield were warned twice that the ref are going to take action of they carry on transgressing.

But Stegman was the tackler. He got to his feet and went for the ball. He is allowed to do that. On the other hand, the shark player on the ground was holding on.

In your eyes anything is possible. Do not even get me starting on this holding on rule, the most abused law by ref's to influence the outcome of the game!

By the way if you get back to your feet dont you have to retreat and come from behind in the gate, Hmmm?
