I got an agro look be some idiot on a bicycle yesterday. The left turning lane and cyclist's lane are next to each other. I was slowing down to turn left and the cyclist behind me, knocked on my window and then rushed passed my car.

I get it you want to be healthy and ****. Cycle in a damn park or mountainous area. Not a damn main road. It is hella annoying.

Ugh, why cant they cycle at gym or something.
 
Not my finding at all, if I see some approaching from behind I try to make the gap they have to pass through a little bigger, many of them will wave to say thanks.

It does annoy my wife a bit but I just tell her that clearly they [bikers] are more advanced than us because they need half the number of wheels we do to do the same thing.

Edit : I prefer to mountain bike, which is off road, but I do also make use of the road. It is a bit of a stereotype thing but roadies are a bit more agro. The way I see it, when I drive and someone cuts me off I don't go bashing on their cars, so why should I if I am on my bike?

Some of us actually cycle to and from work, you know, saving the earth and taking a few cars out of traffic for you :P

Always happen to me. I just move left when I can. Then its open and I just drive there overtaking idiots sitting in the middle lanes.

In that case I don't mind traffic is kark in Cape Town. People just need to chill the **** out and be considerate on the road. Arrive alive..

Totally agree. I get pissed off at some cyclists who give the rest of us a bad name. Like those that jump robots or ride wider than they need to etc... etc.... Either way, we digress.... How about these non-human powered bicycle riders hey? such a dirty bunch

The only ones I see riding without lights and helmets and skip traffic lights are the "landscape technicians" on their way to work.
 
Is it just me, or are people starting to get more aggro?

For example - the offramp to John Vorster in Centurion, when coming from Krugersdorp or JHB always cause a lot of traffic in every lane as people coming from JHB or Krugersdorp does not want to sit in the queue, they want to push in at the front, thereby causing traffic. A couple of months back it was not so often, but nowadays it seem to happen every single day.

Just wait patiently in the queue, if nobody tries to push in at the front, the queue will move faster.

Couldn't believe on william nicol southbound at the N1 yesterday, how the right hand straight-only lane was repurposed to a right turning lane, with traffic driving OVER the raised island in the middle of the intersection...

people are ******s.

William nicol, going north or south is always a mess. I have found other routes.

Even the bikers here are cool. Traffic already to crap to still make it worse by being aggressive/ raged.
 
Not all bikers are bad, I generally deal with good ones. My car mirrors fold with a button, often times when I see that he/she is trying to get past, I fold the mirrors and they thank me and keep on going.

I have seen a few who act up when someone is stuck between lanes due to traffic coming to a sudden haunt e.g. when a Blue Light Brigade comes hurtling through, then you get bikers who try get in on the action and if they find a car that was mid lane they go ballistic, lol, it's so childish.
