Why whites must vote for the EFF

I vote that there should be a poll about how far the readers got. Something like...

One sentence or less
First paragraph
Less than half of the "article"
Completed, proceeded to drown sorrows in Listerine.

Quit when I saw redeemed.

What South Africa would have looked like TODAY if Jan van Riebeck didn't arrive here

I got this far
, I generally have nothing to do with whites, I honestly believe that whites owe blacks such a huge debt they can never repay in full.

What a hippocrate, racist arsehole.

I don't think he understands and appreciates the reality of the situation.

He sits on his computer(thanks to the whites) using infrastructure(again thanks to the whites) expressing his distaste of white people.

If the whites never came to Africa he would be sitting in his hut, drinking dirty water he had to carry from the river battling some disease due to the lack of medicine. More than likely worrying when the next arab slaving party would come knocking.

He fails to grasp that he and his ilk has a debt they can never repay to the people that brought all these advances to a backward continent.

Taking all of this for granted because he feels he is entitled to it.

When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail (Woodworking, Grade 4). For racists, race is the tool. What worries me is that in our current form of democracy, the racists can outvote the non-racists and take the State. Hence the crude demagoguery and aggressive populism of Malema and his party. Is there anything to stop this man from being president one day?

This is the problem with a democracy, it is really a popularity contest. And an easy way to win the contest is to just say what the majority want to hear, even if the things said are unachievable. The empty promises will get you power for at least 20 years before the uneducated start realising they were indeed empty.

It would never happen, and because of the demographics of the country it would be called racist, but votes should really have some form of weighting. For example, the more tax you pay, the more your vote counts.

Requirements for being allowed to vote should be:
- Pays taxes
- Zero criminal record

We will never be that lucky though :) We don't have a democracy, we have an Ineptocracy.

– a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Sounds very Zim-like...

Why should I account for Mngxitama's views? People post opinion articles all the time and forum members engage with the content. I don't see article posters being goaded to account for the authors' views. Why should I have to do it?

I don't really want to, or have to, respond to this comment.

The question really what did white people do and why did they do it when they say black people.

Answer me that first.

The EFF are doing this and actually much worse because while they are not so much in a position of power (what they have isn't power) ... but rather in a tactical position of a little bit of benefit ... they feel like they are counter-acting apartheid ... that's it.

Well engage then....

Just as what blooms forth from this thread, it's the humility and warm hearted, never condescending and insulting nature towards their less fortunate country men that makes white South Africans so lovable and endearing. No wonder every black person can see no wrong in white South Africans and wished only the best for us.

Respect is a two way street. Do you expect whites to give any to blacks when reading an article like the one referred to? The fact that you overlook what was said in the article and point fingers at the comments made in this thread shows the actual issue - blacks can say and do as they please and whites are just meant to accept because they "owe" it.

The article is rubbish and MOST whites are decent, good people with no intent to screw anyone over. It's a shame that's absolutely not the message that a black person would get from visiting a thread like this. For example :

He sits on his computer(thanks to the whites) using infrastructure(again thanks to the whites) expressing his distaste of white people. If I was a black person I wouldn't want to offer anyone with that type of attitude any respect. That would be to lick the dick that pisses on you.

If the whites never came to Africa he would be sitting in his hut, drinking dirty water he had to carry from the river battling some disease due to the lack of medicine. More than likely worrying when the next arab slaving party would come knocking.

You can cling to your high ground as much as you like. But the tone is repulsive, insulting, devoid of context and sophisticated revision.
