I recently got wi fi, with some problems i might add.

Peer to peer programs didn't seem to work as well as Guild Wars and a couple of other programs using the net.

So i got Wingate. Its working but with some problems

Is there a better program than Wingate on the market?

I can for example not connect to guild wars exept when i add the exe file to wingate?

like i said nOOB but thats why im asking an that's why i started the thread

At fist guess I would say that you need to set up port forwarding on your router. if you tell me what model you using, i could give u some more "detailed" instructions.

ok lets give this a go. just cant really help with the little info you he provided.

do you connect to a Wireless ISP?
can you be a bit more specific with the setup.
do you have a wireless card in your PC then a black cable running to a funny grey thing in the dish on your roof?

i'm guessing that wingate is your proxy/firewall software.
do you use more then one computer on your network that connects via the wingate?
