Wierd problem

Hi

Just got ADSL from SAOL a week ago. I downloaded large files from Gamespot and Download.com. The next day I couldn't connect to these websites. I tried another computer on the same modem and had the same result.

What do you think is the problem.

I sometimes get through then get a time out error at the download page

could the sites be down? if not report it to SAOL

couple of days ago Download.com was down for me as well (or I got some weird redirections), I think there was a problem with the site

In case you can not connect only to one or two sites, try using a working proxy
Google 'free proxy', then Google 'online proxy checker' to check if the proxy's working, then load the proxy to your browser and see if it helps (it'll slow you down though)
