Good Day,
I need some help please. I suspect that somehow someone in my neighborhood might be jamming my wifi signals perhaps intentionally or unintentionally?
I cannot connect any device to my modem as it simply does not find the wifi signals.
If I am lucky and do pick the wifi signal, it takes forever to connect and then loses connection never to connect again. This was tried on different laptops , mobile phones and tablets.

Some Background:
Everything was working fine up until a few days ago.
I do have internet connection via LAN cable that goes into the router/modem.
The router has been factory reset and powered off multiple times)
I went to the store and actually replaced the router with a brand new one and the same happens .
Have changed my channels to different numbers in the router config , no joy.
Took the router to my work office (which is out of the area I live in) to test and it works normally with my original router config and not changing anything. Thus proving the router is working as it should.

Is there any way , that I can run some sort of trace to see what is causing the interference and perhaps block that in any way?
Or do you know of someone that can assist to do this?

Would really appreciate any help or assistance

Also not sure if any mobile towers could affect this in anyw way ? We have rather large towers (not the normal one) not very far from us and not sure if the service providers have switched something on etc?

EDIT : redacted after i read the whole post. sorry OP

Check WLAN Drivers, router firmware and all that stuff.

Maybe the router is failing.

Some malicious person may be issuing deauth requests, forcing you to disconnect from your AP before you even really connect to it.

^Paranoia ;)

Change your wifi channel to one that's absent in your area. Also add a new WPA2-PSK passcode to your wifi and change the router login password. If you can, delete the other user accounts for your router (tech support, guest etc.) and leave only admin.

Check at all the devices connected to your network and also make sure that there isn't a fridge or something in the way of your router (maybe you have it behind the deep freeze...?)

If none of that works, try connect via an ethernet (lan) cable and see if you can access other devices or see them on the network. It might be the antennae failing or perhaps the router packing in. So try a complete reset if nothing else works.

EDIT: Also, yes WiFi can be "scrambled" in a sense that packets sent and received by your router's wifi can be "replicated" by someone else in order to "jam" the signal, or impose as other data (viruses and malware etc.), HOWEVER, it is not something your neighbour would just do, and it is quite complicated.
I still presume it's the channels though. It's like tuning 10 stations to 1 frequency. It's not good. You get a scramble of different radio stations. The same thing happens (at a lesser scale) with wifi.

Thanks it`s now sorted - After a VERY lengthy trouble shooting session , I managed to find out that my media player has an external WIFI connecter and that seems to cause the issue. A simple power disconnect of this device opened all my wifi again!!! Thanks to eveyone`s response and meaningfull imput! JUST HAPPY IT`S SORTED :-)!!!!!!!
