Hey guys,

I saw they provided the connection at Rage and im tired of waiting for telkom to "lay more cables", so im curious if any1 is using them and what their experiences are concerning the service, cost and reliability?

Thanks in advance!

Did a google search for their website looks like a kiddies playground and no information is available :(

ye i know what u mean...

But the connection was solid for wireless and f-ing fast. I actually spoke to the guys and they will make a package for u, so if u are after a 512kb line (and apparently its 512 down and up) with a certain cap they can do that. Their pricing did seem a little steep (although u can negotiate with them), but if the reliability is there then hey might be worthwhile.

Well lets see, they coming to do some tests at my place so im willing to give it a go

If you get the line in lemme know what the latency looks like.

I know most WIFI can be expensive to set up the CPE Equipment is in the range of 1.5 - 2.5 k.

Im looking for a new connection but
1: If possible dont want to have to install a "Telkom Line"
2: Have decent international latency.
3: Stable Connection.

Dono if thats possible in SA but we can hope.

Ball park figure?

they got back to me today. Sadly i dont have line of sight to their tower, so they gonna see what they can do for me...

I guess i might have to start looking for alternatives

Haven't you heard of Amobia? Supposed to be quite good, maybe you have LOS to them. They also have well priced "uncapped" (got a 3 day rolling threshold).

ye thanks Techrat, im actually gonna give them a call. seems like the are pretty good according to the search i did on them here, will have to wait and see
