What happens if you have both WiFi and Mobile data switched on? I have WiFi at home, but want to use Mobile data when I am away. Does any MD get used while I am at home connected to the WiFi?

WiFi should take priority unless the WiFi doesn't have an internet connection.

Thank you, makes sense. Maybe I should see exactly how much MD I have and then check it a few hours later? If WiFi is connected, the MD should be unchanged

Should remain unchanged in theory, if you have no Wi-Fi dead spots in the house. There may be some overhead used by your network operator though.

I only switch on mobile data when leaving the house, and also turn off Wi-Fi while away from the house.

I have just done a check with both on and no MD was used! Many thanks to you all
