WiFi spots in George

Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if there are any WiFi hotspots in George?

My mother is moving down there at the end of the month and she'd gonna be out in the veld so there's not much in the way of broadband, so I thought maybe she could go into town and find a coffee shop or something that has a wireless internet connection.

First choice was Mugg and Bean, coz from what I understand they are affiliated with mweb, and you can log-in for free using your mweb account details. But apparently they don't do it down in George.

Any help would be great!

The only place I can think of at the moment is McDonalds...you have to buy an airtime voucher from them. Will post if I can think of any other place.

Look for the "macwire" SSID at McDonalds,speak to Patrick.
Vsquare located on the 1st Floor at Spar close to ABSA have a "hotspot" SSID
Its WEPPED, speak to Wayne and subscribe to it

I sometimes go to the UPSTAIRS AT HARRYS coffeshop above spar. there is an internet CAFE next to it and you can recive a wireless signal from there. else just get 3G
