Wii for Two

What do you have to buy for a basic Two person system? The Wii itself includes a wireless Wii remote and Nunchuck as well as Wii Sports. Do you need to get a second wireless remote and Nunchuck? (As well as a real game). Starts getting quite heavy for a "What the hell, lets see what it's about and maybe the wife will play" sort of thing.

Thats more than I spent on my XBox Pro + Extra Controller + Gears :(

Oh and a component cable for My DTV is around R400.
 
It is not supposed to be nearly that costly, it is a sad fact, the system was supposed to be an impulse buy. Its strength lay in the fact that it could be bought for far less than its competition. Sadly is competes directly with the Xbox 360 in our good old SA.
 
It's still too much money. Local distributors are going to kill that console before it's left the ground.
 
I think I'm going to save up for a Wii ;) It looks cool.
 
I’m also saving for one but their abit expensive for a second console. Saw one the other day and just thought I have to have one... :D Typical man instinct.
 
Guess it pays to have TV adverts. I don't recall Nintendo ever having such a strong marketing drive with any of their previous consoles, locally that is.

Thats exactly why I'm rather going to get an Xbox360.

The Wii's fun and all, and I definitely want one but at that price I'd rather get something with more games. I'll just play with the Wii at my friends.
