Hello All ,

I bought me a Wii this past w\end (Black console) with the console I got a remote , motion sensor and nun chucks and 2 free games (Wii resort and the 5 game sport one). I also then bought a generic second controller with the motion plus and wireless nunchucks. My problem is that the second remote's motion thingy does not seem to work , when I try and play something like table tennis the game complains that I must add a remote with the motion plus. I sync and added the remote successfully and I can play games like tennis on the sprt pack but I cannot get any of the Wii resort games to work with the second remote.

I returned the device yesterday and they swopped it for me but the new controller does the same , which makes me think the problem is me ?? LOL , please help.

The wiimote you purchased is probably an older one without the motion plus built in. You need need buy the motion plus optional accessory and connect it to this wiimote.

I think thats the problem, I think the generic controller might not support the motion plus add on. I think that there is generic one (Nyko) with motion + built in. Also you much make sure that the motion+ is "locked in"

Jaa I know but its half the price LOL !! I am sure its locked in , why would it not support the motion plus if it comes with it ?

Ok guys just an update , the generic Wii remote I bought does come with the nun chucks and a plug one for the bottom of the remote but the plug in is NOT a motion plus sensor , its the wireless device that connects the nunchucks !! The first lady at Toys R us told me that the device is a Remote , plus Nunchucks and a Motion Sensor. When I returned the remote and nunchucks on Tuesday their cabinet was locked and they could not test it , yesterday I called the branch in Somerset road and a Thaabiet helped me , he was the one who pointed this out and checked for me if you can add a motion plus sensor to the remote , I was able to buy the motion plus sensor by him and I am happy to say it works 100% !!!

So if you ever buy the generic remote plus Nunchucks (they come as a bundle) make sure you also buy the motion plus sensor !! Re the device , for me its the same of the original so far , no problems but off course we will have to see with time if it will last as long.

Till later from a happy Wii gamer with VERY HAPPY kids !! LOL
