I have always wanted one of those exersice bikes with some sort of interactive game... but of course, everything you really want is wayyy too expensive:

I have had the Wii fit for some time now and one day put a little thought into it - why not just strap the Wiimote to my elliptical trainer and do a round of jogging in Wii fit. I have a cheapo trojan x-trainer from Game (R1500 ish).
Well, it turned out to be pretty easy and I am going to see if I can come up with a list of potential games / ways to interact with my exersice equipment using the Wii. Anyone else tried this? Let's see if we can create some sort of list. I'm sure a wireless nunchuk could work somehow too. I used a rubber strap, but I guess anything would work - if you have the rubber cover for the Wiimote, even better. Even a cabletie will work (the kind you can undo and reuse).
Dunno if Sonic and Mario at the olympics would work - the x-trainer is prolly not fast enough, but I found Wii jogging to be perfect although I do tend to go pretty fast to maintain a good pace - medium and short course works well...
I'll post a vid when I find time, pics follow:
