Wii update errors

How many updates have you guys had to do? Got mine on Friday. The large update 100meg + failed with an error about 80 % in, although it still changed my version number to 3.0E. Next day it wanted to install another update (20 megs) which succedded(No version change). Checking for new updates now and it still wants to update again! Havent had time to run it again. What are your experiencs?
 
I only had one major update.

Have got one waiting available though for the internet channel which apparently patches the opera browser. Otherwise no issues with it, sorry man.:(

Thats the thing. I dont have any issues either :) Its all working. The fact the update ended with a error message is a bit worrying though. What version of the firmware is yours displaying? Are you set to United Kingdom?
 
I set it to Uk whenever I want to use WiiConnect24 for the virtual shop, News or Weather. Otherwise I leave it on SA. If you have the Internet channel, that does not require WiiConnect24 to access the net but talks to your router directly.

As to Firmware, I'll post once SA-USA game over so I can see without others killing me by changing the channel.:D

*EDIT* Firmware is 3.0E

Try your update tomorrow again. This time of the month the international traffic is always a problem. Everybody is using their last bit of cap before the new month start.
 
Mine did an update of 120Mb. I'd guess that yours got the 100Mb, gave an error, then carried on next time and got the remaining 20Mb, and applied the entire update successfully.
 
I agree with Cathryn. It makes sense that they would have some type of resuming feature and who says that the update is one large file? Maybe its a bunch of smaller ones and it aplied those that it had downloaded updating your firmware and then downloaded the balance updating segments or something?

The Wii knows....

Ya, but when I check for updates now it still says that an update is available even though the version is 3.0E.
 
Mine did an update on Saturday night to 3.0E ... where do you guys see the size, or do you monitor your routers?
