The essentials of Internet 2.00 comprise 3 major elements:
1. Physical location (as far as it has one).
2. Constitutions, regulations, mission statements, etc.
3. Technical aspects.
Point 1 I have some kick-ass ideas about. Points 2 & 3 need to be interactive with 2 driving 3. The framework for 2 is defined (not easily made obsolete) with reference to technical boffins on 3. “Is this possible?” “Can this be done?” and most importantly “How much will this cost?”
At the end of the exercise, a reasonably realistic global budget can be projected and the world can decide whether it’s affordable and worth it.
