The rematch that has percolated for 15 months will finally take place this weekend when WBC champion Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury do it all again under the bright lights in Las Vegas.

SuperSport 1 and 8 will cross to the MGM Grand at 4am (CAT) on Sunday with the headliner due to start at about 6.45am.

It’s a fight that fans have clamoured for ever since the judges controversially called the first fight a draw, notwithstanding Fury having outboxed Wilder for large chunks of the fight.

I'm going to say Wilder was brave. I'm deliberately saying 'brave', 'cos the other option is 'crazy'.

Man, that fight was basically over in the third, but he kept coming out when the bell rang.

His mouth was bleeding, his ear was bleeding, he'd been knocked down... He had nothing to hurt Fury with and he had nothing to stop Fury hurting him, and I think he knew it.

His corner made the right call, and I couldn't help notice the ref, who was focused on the two of them and didn't see the towel being thrown, stopped it at almost exactly the same time.

Anyway, Fury/Joshua next please.

Wilder definitely showed he is a true champion and fought hard. I didn't expect such a dominant performance.

Although I want to see Fury vs Wilder 3 I want to see Fury vs Joshua 1st.

Would love to see them face off at Wembley but more money would probably be earned in the US or Suadi Arabia

The BLOOD! some much blood coming out of Wilder ear was horrifying.

Yup.

That fight just broke the gate record of $16,8Million that's been around since Lewis/Holyfield in '99.

My bet's on Vegas.

Like I said, 'brave'.

Give me a while to think about it a little more 'tho and I might be changing my call to 'crazy'.

Fury hurt him. Letting it go on would have been a bad idea. A really bad idea.

What a letdown. After the burst eardrum Wilder was out of the fight. But it was a fair punch so well done to Fury, even though the choke hold tactic pissed me off a bit. There will most definitely be a rematch.
Best fight of the night was Navarrete v Santisima.

Heavyweight gate record. Mayweather vs Pacquiao brought in a lot more at the gate.

I was glad fury won.

I was having a convo with guys in the office that laughed at me when i said that wilder is full of holes and is over reliant on his big gun. And that fury would expose him by making it an in fight. No space to send the missile.

I got retorts like "hes gonna knock fury out BRAH", "best knock out % BRAH!" all them guys are missing this morning.

Fury deserved to win the 1st one and deservedly put the argument to bed this weekend. His come back story is also just amazing.

Wilder has to go learn some boxing I reckon, it will only make him a better fighter. I'm sure he'll come back in a big way.

Those entrances were such a laugh, do they know how stupid they looked?

It gets more and more circus like every time

Fury should've ended that fight in the 3rd.

His jab had been so effective, then he hurts Wilder and forgets about his jab and spends the remainder of the bout trying to land that one big right hand in the most sloppy way imaginable.

Wilder has been hurt before and recovered, so Fury was being stupid trying to open the door for him by being reckless.

Good win by Fury. Now I really want to see him vs Joshua. Joshua has less power but has perfected orthodox boxing technique. Fury has his own technique but its very unorthodox. Very twitchy with a lot of feints. Fury would probably win as he has a power edge over Joshua but I think it would be a great match.
