Hi folks,

So I received my Wileyfox Swift in the mail yesterday - I'm pretty impressed!
Ok, so, I wouldn't be posting here if things were going smoothly... Sadly, I'm unable to utilize ANY (and boy, have I tested almost all the ones I could find) NoRoot firewalls. I really like using an android firewall as I can block internet access to certain apps and Android OS itself. Now, these firewalls all create VPNs, could it be that the phone doesn't "like" VPNs? I factory resetted the phone 3 times now and each time, once the reset is finished, the firewall (any firewall) works just fine! However, after a restart, or within 2 hours of use, the firewall fails and the firewall apps refuse to start at all! Any suggestions? I have Google Play and co disabled - have tried enabling but makes no difference....

Any help would be appreciated! :)

In settings, data usage, you will see all apps that uses data, you can select "restrict app background data" for the apps that you want to limit.
I hope this can help you.

I want to disable internet to an app entirely - the "restrict background data" is inadequate for this. It's great to be able to use an app "in the front" without it using internet. Also, the firewalls are able to block system apps from accessing the internet.

Lucky patcher? Not sure if it can do that without rooting though.
