PlaNning to get an iphone, but with 500mb data, will 500mb be enough for bbm???? I'm a heavey heavy heeaavy bbm user will it last me? And how much data does it take to send a bbm message?

If exclusively for bbm then it's more than enough. Too much actually. But BBM... :erm:

Your modern day smartphone needs data for things other than BBM like updating apps, syncing contcats, fetching email and web browsing. There are data compression apps like Onnavo Extend that can give you an extra few mb's.

Depends on what else you do with it.

Also, if you never have it on Wifi, it might be cutting it thin if you use it like me.

Nope no wifi, I'll be bbm'ing, instagram ocationally a game or 2 like in a month

Should be fine unless you use BBM to send songs and stuff.

1GB maybe? I don't use an iphone but I burn through 2GB of mobile data a month. Even more so, seeing that you don't have WiFi.

Yeah but that's probably with browsing the net and watching YouTube videos. For someone that just chats, 500MBs would probably work.

my options are 5s with 500mb ors 5c with 1GB which one is the better option? 5c get more but 5s is higher end

I'd rather take the c then.

if you were looking at the Iphone 6 would be different story.

500mb is a joke. When the phone updates itself and the software, which it does often, you'll be out of data in no time.

If used purely for messaging then 500mb is ample, but there will always be other software that eats into that data bundle.
GPS, Maps, Email, Facebook, Games, Updates, iCloud Sync, instagram, browsing, ect...

If you make the words shorter you should be fine. Like instead of typing "Can I help you", rather type "C i h u". Where possible drop the first letter as well.

For purely messaging, 500MB should be fine. Just keep an eye on your data usage during the month to avoid the OOB shark.
