Will a decooder from 2014 work with DSTV?

The model is Altech TA2014 745. I know nothing about DSTV and don't care to know anything about it, but is this model still "supported"?

It's not an Explora. I can find no reference to this model other than an ICASA approval document.

If it's the little HD model I think it will, as I've got an old HD model not sure of it's number though.

You could probably get someone to give you their newer decoder. They may even pay you to take it.

My great aunt still uses the original Delta 9000 decoder and theres no prob.
