Will Huawei ever get passed GMS ?

The best way for me was downloading Aptoide (https://en.aptoide.com) and running that as a separate store.

Most people who will use the phone will not even know about Aptoide.

How is the app selection using the default Huawei store?

Majority of my apps I found through Aptoide - with some being available in the Huawei gallery. My first point of call is usually Aptoide and this I did the list below, I've got FNB, LinkedIn and a few others. After a week this phone, I hardly notice that it has no GMS ...

Two apps I've struggled with are Online Share Trading (STD Bank) and Fedgroup ...

However, instead of downloading American Apps like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter directly from the HMS App store, users will have to search for the apps on their browser and download them from the internet.

So these apps will not update automatically then. Going to be a ball ache doing manual updates all the time.
