Thinking of purchasing my car from the bank, only problem is that the engine light is on. Nothing is wrong and the car drives perfectly but this darn engine light is permantly on. Think it would pass the road worthy test?

There isn't a fuse for it.
You could take the dash apart and remove the bulb/led... Or take it to someone to read the stored DTCs and clear them if they aren't serious.
