Hey Afripeeps,
Has anyone tried a dataforall Afrihost sim in a Telkom branded d-link dongle? Or is there any reason it might not work?

My Telkom branded Dongle was a DWM-156 (not sure what yours is) and once I re-flashed it with the manufacturers original firmware it then worked with all sims. (MTN, Telkom & Cell C)

Maybe if you can post which D-Link model yours is, someone can offer advice.

@ITCynic, thanks it's a 'DWM-157/TK HSPA+ USB Adapter', OP updated to reflect that. Hoping I don't need to reflash it, else maybe will just get try to get it working again on Telkom mobile.

From the link you provided it looks like you can add new profiles for other providers so it appears that it should work as is without reflashing.

It appears it has the D-Link firmware and not the Telkom one.

As long as you can update the APN on that you should be good to go! :)

You can either have the data loaded onto an existing MTN sim card, or we can provide you with a new sim.
