will my Nokia N78 work in UK

Should work nicely.
Some say Labara payg (on Vodafone) offers a good rate - or look at Virgin UK.

Only if you buy pre-pay and even then provided you buy a Virgin Mobile Pre-Pay they will give you your Network unlock code once you have loaded £30 of airtime. You do not get charged anything for the code!

If buying a handset in the UK insist that it is not network locked; it will cost a little extra but it will usually be considerably cheaper than buying the same handset here!

I found the best pay as you go package seemed to be from Orange. On the "Camel" package you can phone back to SA at 5p (others charge 20-30p) per minute as well as used Skype ,Nimbuzz and messeger. Very good value for money.

T-Mobile block VOIP apps.....I dont know which others do.
