Will my Vodacom iPhone 4 work with MTC Namibia or Cell One over there?

I bought an iPhone on Vodacom contract. I will be in Namibia for a while. Will it work over there with a MTC or Cell One sim card?

It works perfectly. Just cut your sim (mtc also sells microsim now if u want a new nr)
Pop in at the mtc shop in the airport, they will enter your apn etc and you will be good to go

Does that mean the Vodacom iPhones are unlocked and open for other carriers?

All iphones from vodacom and mtn are not network locked.
