Will PVR function still work on DSTV compact

Hi guys,

I have downgraded my HD bouquet to DSTV compact at home as i have almost totally moved in with my g/f, keeping the compact option for the occasional times i will be at home.

Will my PVR function still work (to record from compact channels) and will the movies i have previously recorded and stored still be available for me to watch ?

Yes as long as your PVR subscription is still enabled.

Yes you would be able to view all the content recorded on your PVR
I have upgraded and downgraded several times from Compact to Premium and still able to watch the stuff i recorded off the Premium bouquet

Yeah I doubt that if you don't get the channel on your bouquet that you'll be able to watch that channel on-demand

Really dumb that they don't offer Box-Office with the other bouquets, you pay extra for the content anyway so they are just limiting the amount of money they can make.

Ah, yes, I agree that makes sense. I remember a while back there was a forum (might've been on DSTV website) that they were planning on bringing box office to other packages. But it's a prerequisite to own a PVR and I think there are relatively few non-premium subscribers with PVRs.
