Will Telkom send a hitman to kill me?

I am using a Telkom 2gb adsl internet package. I don't really go and have a look how much I have downloaded very often but when I just checked I got a surprise! I have dowloaded about 4GB, thats like double I'm supposed to, why doesn't Telkom cap me and can they charge me or something?

HAHA funny , just looked through my contract terms and conditions and Telkom can't charge me. The question is though, why don't they cap me?

You first have a blended cap of 2 gb and then a local only promotional cap of 20gb, after which when used, TI reserve the right to charge R25.50 p/gb. A few people on this forum have been charged for over usage but that's generally only when you go heavily over you promotional limit, ie: 40gb +-

2gb account = +_4gb cap with telkom

3gb account = +_6gb

There are ways to get more but you'll have to figure that out yourself.

It is called soft capping
