Will the new changes to eBucks decrease your current level?

Agreed. eBucks died yesterday. I'm most likely moving banks within the next two monthsThis kills eBucks for me completely. It is pointless now.
You must be a joy around the braaiI still dont get why people are mad, if you are smart and spend only what you need, you still get something out,
Im on aspire, and still get my wimpy voucher, starbucks drinks and Kuai smoothie every fortnight/month/week, without much effort,
dont need to spend a fortune, anyway fill at engen, and go past PNP every so often,
bank rewards are just that, rewards, not the entire meal, if you play it cool, you still get stuff, and especially if you go in with modest expectations.
Saffers are so entitled snobs sometimes, go overseas once in a while, you lucky if you get a toaster with your bank account.
Same here. Will likely give Discovery bank a go.Agreed. eBucks died yesterday. I'm most likely moving banks within the next two months
It was part of the value proposition when I chose to go to FNB and when I chose to upgrade. They eroded the value significantly after I made a decision on it and today my decision would definitely be different. Nothing in this world is "free". I pay FNB monthly fee and they earn commission on my forex and can use the fraction reserve system to make significant interest income on my deposits. So no - this isn't "why do you complain about freebies". There isn't a freebie. A capitec account cost R7. 50 a month. My Private Clients account cost R495 per month. I don't do R487. 50 worth of transactions. So my question is what is the R487. 50 paying for? The "private banker" is useless - they have never been able to solve a single real problem for me, and as far as single point of contact they are useless as well - for an address change you still get bounced between departments.I still dont get why people are mad, if you are smart and spend only what you need, you still get something out,

fair point, but then why spend almost 500ZAR a month, then you can downgrade further to R110 on aspire and get your free coffee and Kuai and wimpy vouchers, every so often get R100 off a flight ticket and still keep an FNB account,It was part of the value proposition when I chose to go to FNB and when I chose to upgrade. So I justified the R487. 50 for the "perks" - E. G. Lounge access, eBucks etc. But now those perks are disappearing. I am not going to pay R487. 50 per month so I can tell people I am on Private Clients (and ha - with tap-and-go on your phone nobody even sees the card).
So now R487. 50 goes into a black hole each month.
