Will this Hardware Work?

I am wanting to build a new PC which will be used for work and will hopefully be able to dual boot (separate SSD drives) between Windows and MAC OS X - hackintosh. I have tried VM but not a fan.

So I just want to know if anyone could tell me if this build I want to order will do the job? That motherboard has been tested to work with Hackintosh already which is good.

I will be ordering an Intel Core i5 4570 as well.

Regarding the case, I am tossed up between the Cooler Master Elite 130 or the Zalman Z3 Plus...

Any thoughts or changes you think would make this a better project?

I don't mind ordering from other places either if the prices are better.

Didn't you already post this in a hackintosh thread?

Yes but going to delete it from there as I realized my question relates more to PC Hardware as I will need to run Windows on the system as well for software that is Windows based only. So need to know if the hardware I have chosen is the best I can get for that sort of price.

If you're going to be running OSX for work purposes, I'd highly recommend getting a MacMini instead, because they're not that expensive.

If you're just going to be playing around on OSX for a hobby, and don't mind wasting time configuring/setting up/tweaking hackintosh, then go for the custom Intel PC buid.

I used to run Hackintosh in VirtualBox, but it's not working for me any longer. It does however work in VMWare, but VMWare Workstation license alone will set you back over R3k, and Apple will never let you license OSX on non-Apple hardware!

Your build seems to be correct, however you didn't include a HDD/SSD :)
I can't say how compatible that hardware is with Hackintosh though!

Thanks for the reply.

I already have a spare SSD and quite a few HDD's I can use.

So if I go with that build, it should be able to run most Windows programs pretty well? Won't be gaming at all, just looking for performance and speed.

Will mainly be used for website design and development.

Yes, it's a good system that will run most things supremely well.
SSD will be the game changer though.
