It's amazing how people will actively try to knee-cap themselves.
Same okes I bet that'll eat the bugs.
 
I'm thinking the location of the tiny house is the key here, tiny house in the middle of Jo'burg not as appealing as a tiny house on your own beach on the West Coast

Tiny Houses in a Joburg context = Granny Flat
Tiny House in a WC beach context = seaside squatter camp.

Thus is the realities of the property market in SA

Overstrand Municipality approved the built of Tiny Houses up to 27m2.

Great news - hopefully more will follow.

I am two minded about this.(not that I know what the full extent of the regulations are), but if you make it law, developers will follow with smaller and smaller accommodation and higher prices per m². You end up building cities out of shoeboxes. 27m² should only ever be temporary accommodation.
