Wimax and Bipac-7202GR2 router

Hi Guys,
Having waited a year for ADSL with no luck, I have now been offered Wimax.
Can I use my existing Billion Bipac-7202GR2 router to connect to the IDU or do I have to purchase new equipment??

I don't use a router, just plug straight into your network port on your pc and set up a PPPoE dial up connection!!!! Its works just perfect

Just hope the "offer" isn't spam.. I live in Somerset West so Wimax (any Max) will be a novelty..

You may not believe this but...

I was contacted a week later to my sms. Guys came and installed Wimax the day after . They say their tower is on the Hottentot Holland mountain with all the other antennas (we call it Sugarloaf, they called it Hangklip). I have "line of sight" and get an excellent signal. Wimax works well so far, no problems. They say they have tested up to 32kms back to Table Mountain and with their other antenna in Cape Town they should be able to offer good coverage.
I will wait until the bad weather sets in to see if it still works well but so far so good .

I found that no matter what the weather my WIMAX service is consistent. No drop in signal strength or speed of service WIMAX is really great, I haven't had a moments problem.

I'll be surprised if you loose signal due to bad weather, the WiMax seems to never give up
