Well, the server is close to where you live. Let me show you the difference. Here's my 4 mbps line and I'm near the Kruger Park:

As you can see, the latency is higher for me, but my speed is faster.

The reason he's got low latency, is because it's right next to him. If we did a few tests together on different sites, you'd see that sometimes he beats ADSL and sometimes not ;)

Sounds like balls to me? AFAIK all ADSL and WiMAX traffic use the same ATM network and ALL IPC links that link the ATM network to the ISP's are in JHB?

My test here at work on a 4Mbps ADSL


did the test again got 84ms?

hmmm, i must say. i'm quite impressed with you guys' WiMAX performance. i really didnt expect much from wimax. ordered mine yesterday.

how long did you guys wait from day of order until it was installed?

I've waited about 4 weeks in total from the time they said I'll get WIMAX.:rolleyes:

I originally applied for ADSL more than 2 years ago though:mad:
 
Do you play any online games ie Battlefield2 or CSS?

I want to know what the latency would be like playing games on the SAIX network.
