Hi folks!
Been a while since I have posted on the forum, guess I have been lurking.
I currently have a 4 Meg ADSL line at home that has been pretty stable for most of the time I have had the line. BUT there are intermittent issues with line stability and sync issues with the DSLAM, from time to time...
I run a small server on this ADSL line and use DynDNS to update the IP address when it does change.
I have decided to install a Wimax "line" as backup for the ADSL line. The question is: Does Wimax provide a "routable" IP address similar to ADSL or is it NATed like the 3G connections?
I just need to be sure if the Wimax connection is similar to a ADSL connection ito IP address etc. Speed is not an issue, I just need a stable reliable connection.
