WIMAX?

Hi

I am looking for alternatives to my current Telkom account. They have now taken over 3 months to solve the 'bulk' problem I reported in Feb. It has now deterioted to the point where my line is dead.

I see on the vodacom.co.za site coverage map a WIMAX layer (and I have coverage where I live), however I can not find any (other) reference to WIMAX on the site. What does this refer to and is it workable for a replacement for baseline connectivity?

I also see mention of a 43Mbps HSPA+ network. Is this on all HSPA towers, or only selected ones? Is already out there?

From my understanding, VC is currently only offering WiMax to businesses.

Enquire with Telkom. Their Wimax offering would be best since you can use normal ADSL accounts with it
