I've got a Win 8.1 PC connected to a Samba 3 Domain. I've made the two registry entries to allow the machine onto the domain - I've also made a local GP edit to only allow local user profiles, as our domain doesn't run on roaming profiles.
Its not the best setup, but I inherited it and will be migrating the domain shortly.
My problem is, programs don't seem to remember their settings and it seems that the local profile is almost a temporary one. Does anyone have any advice for me on this?
