Win 8 and mail

Going to be installing win 8 next week and am wondering what the default mail application is like. I use Thunderbird currently for my gmail and mweb accounts but it looks like it won't be getting a proper Metro app. What are the best options?

You can use the Modern UI (Metro) mail app that's installed by default with Windows 8 or download and install Windows Essentials which includes a desktop email program for Windows. Try out both and see which one you prefer

Very impressed with the Metro (sorry, that name has stuck with me) mail program. Very easy to set up mail account, very responsive.

Did you import your old address book and emails?
