You can use your credentials- by posting here. Noted quite clearly at the bottom of the article - post in the comments, or in the forum thread.

rpm replied in the news comments that it was for technical reasons, and also so we could register without linking our forum accounts. Personally, I think there should be an option to do so if we wish. rpm?
