Win Xp Account Password Workaround ???

HEY GUYS

CAN SUM1 PLZ TELL ME IF THERES A WAY TO WORK AROUND THE XP ACCOUNT PASSWORDS BECAUSE IV GOT A MACHINE FROM A FRIEND AND THE BLADDY ADMIN ACCOUNT IS PASSWORDED (AND YEAH I KNOW I CANT PHONE HIM AND ASK DA PASSWORD HES GONE OVERSEAS) :mad: THE ONLY WAY THAT I KNOW IS TO DO THE DREADED REINSTALL OF XP :sick:

You get utilities to either 'crack' / 'hack' or blank the password. This is much quicker than reinstalling.
 
Funny - had just had to help a friend, whose IT consultant had put in a password on his user account, because my friend was questioning some bills (which were really unreasonable..)

Turned out the guy was not that smart - he had forgotten to put a password on the administrator account, so no problem using that (starting in safe mode) to change the password of my friends user account.

Well - before going there I googled for solutions (had no imagination the guy was that stupid :=) - and I came up with these links to free software (over and above the abovementioned ones). Never tried them out, but if you do - let us know the results.
