Win10 - Android file copy via wi-fi options?

Need to copy files between win10 and android using wi-fi without internet access so don't want to rely on a cloud service.

Feem works directly but it's slow and has annoying popup to buy premium version.

Is there another simple way of doing this?

The PC supports wi-fi direct, not sure about the phone.

Sorry about that.It's the only one that worked for me without issues transferring large files. Android is not used friendly when it comes to transferring file. I'm not sure if there is a dumbed down version.

Otherwise I use the built in ShareMe adware from Xiaomi.

Works like clockwork when it's set up... shortcut to the drive / directory, user name and password saved... copy, paste. It's quicker to set up than waiting for a "quick and easy" solution to come along. 3pm to 6:55pm is around 4 hours. Could have copied by now.

Can basically fully control android device from host OS (windows, linux or mac), including just copy-paste.
Only need adb installed as well (`choco install scrcpy adb -y`)

Doesn't fulfill no internet condition though with command above, but you can download the installers straight for the offline machine:

I'm busy trying SHAREit and it's working fine, really simple to use. I'm also gonna try Xender

EDIT: Xender for pc is web based so no go.

I did a 1.75GB mkv with shareit no issues.

Just be careful, I am not sure why, but it has happened to me that on Windows the file size or folder size shows e.g. 2.5 GB, but then the individual files were corrupt. I have lost countless videos and images that were broken due to wifi transfer, thinking it all copied. But that was from Android to PC. Not sure about PC to Android.

If you copy over a folder and there are penty of files inside, it is difficult to check if everything copied fine. And for that reason, I found Goodsync Explorer to work the best, even though not Ponder friendly :)

But in your case, you probably just want to watch hunger games on your phone, it should not be an issue.

I have tried. I have failed. Many many times. What is the easiest way to backup all information or selected folders on a non-rooted Android Device to a PC via USB (MTP). This has always been an issue for me with Android. If possible I do not wan't to buy any software. Wifi is too damn slow to...
